Robots known as chatbots help people use a variety of services. You can ask them questions and get generic, but intelligent answers.
But have you ever had a korero with a robot in te reo Māori?
Kea Kids News reporter Turoa Morehu Ngāti Whātua went along to FranklyAI in Tāmaki Makaurau to have a conversation with the very first te Reo Māori speaking chatbot.
Turoa also speaks with civil engineer Wharehuia Dixon who translated the chatbots’ language into te reo Māori.
